Hello and welcome to my first blog. This post will be where I explain my intentions with this blog but first let me make a little bit of a disclaimer just because I know how the internet works. This is a philosophy blog, and in philosophy the notion of scrutinizing the ideas presented is encouraged, the notion of scrutinizing the person said ideas originated from is not. This means that whatever ideas presented in this blog are not necessarily reflections of my own opinion or intended to be presented as definite stone written truth. Having said that I would like to introduce myself. I am Ben and I am an undergrad philosophy major living in Arizona's vally of the sun and I have a serious passion for thinking about conventional wisdom or granted truths and see what kind of holes pop up. In my short time as a philosophy major I have found a comradery amongst those who have a true passion for thinking. That's exactly what has motivated me to do this blog, I would really like to make this blog a place where big and small questions about a vast spectrum of topics are discussed, I sure have a lot of fun thinking about this stuff. I also hope that I may contribute to the number of people discussing and thinking about topics important to the world and all of humanity.
